Director of Operations

Bryan Opiela, better known by his lifelong nickname, “Opie,” been involved with food since a young age when he would spend hours in the kitchen cooking with his grandmother. He has joined the SBR events Group team, as our Director of Operations.

For over 15 years, Opie worked his way through all the departments at a local catering company, taking on leadership roles in the kitchen, operations, and sales – sometimes at the same time! We are grateful for his longtime friendship with fellow team member and Director of Sales, Rain Anderson, as it eventually brought him to us, as he was ready to take on a new challenge. 

Opie enjoys providing creative solutions to increase efficiency and productivity, preventing new and repeat issues. In his first year, Opie has made great strides in improving current operating procedures, and developing new ones for our company. 

Outside of work, Opie shares a passion for culinary and sporting competitions. You will surely find his wife and two children in the cheering section!
