Jacob Doherty

Project Manager

Jacob Doherty has joined the SBR team as one of our project managers. As early as high school, Jacob found himself involved with various event planning opportunities. He decided to turn this involvement and passion into a career path, earning his second degree in Event Management and immediately searching for a place to establish himself and help develop his skillset. 

While earning his degree, Jacob managed a high-volume photography firm outside of Madison, Wisconsin. Given their involvement with high school graduations and senior photos, Jacob was able to put his organizational and interpersonal skills to work, ensuring thousands of photo packages were completed, edited, and distributed without delay. 

Jacob’s favorite part of working in the event industry is watching a project develop from start to finish. It is fulfilling to create events that have a lasting positive impact on those involved. Working alongside a team of passionate and driven individuals who also share this mindset in helping clients see their vision through has been nothing short of motivating to his own contributions in the company, and every day he is excited to grow with them.



Outside of work, Jacob is a talent buyer and official member of a crew with a music festival in Wisconsin. Almost every weekend he can be found at one of the many music venues around the Midwest supporting friends and collaborators. He is also sure to visit his parents and younger brother back in his hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin where they can often be found playing a round of golf together.
